"Funny How “Easy” Isn’t Always Easy"
A few of the so-called easy ones were surprisingly tough, which was a nice little reminder that apparently I don’t know what easy means anymore
"Kind of regret paying for it"
I signed up thinking the content would be kept fresh, but i’m starting to regret it a bit. Updates have been really slow, and I’ll check back after a week or two only to see the same stuff sitting there. For something I’m paying for, I expected more regular updates or at least some kind of note about what actually changed. It’s not terrible, but it definitely hasn’t felt worth the money so far. Unless they start updating it more often, I don’t see myself renewing.
"Decent, but a bit too focused on patterns"
I gave it a try it wasn’t bad overall. The main issue for me was that it leaned really heavily into patterns, and after a while I found myself still feeling kind of lost instead of more confident.
"Didn’t feel that personalized"
The lessons were okay, but they kind of felt like the same thing everyone else was getting. I was hoping for more practice focused on the areas I actually struggle with, but that didn’t really happen... so it just didn’t feel like the best fit for me.

"Good lessons, but I wish there were more language options"
I’ve been using it for a bit and the lessons themselves are decent. They’re clear enough and I can see the value in the way things are explained. That said, the limited programming language options have been frustrating. I mostly work in Ruby, and it doesn’t feel like it’s supported that well. A lot of the time I end up mentally translating the examples into what I actually use, which makes it harder to stay focused and follow along.
"I checked these out because a friend…"
I checked these out because a friend recommended them to me, but i’m still a little confused after reading through everything. I was hoping it would make things clearer, but I feel like I need more explanation or examples to really understand it

"I tried algo.monster for a few weeks…"
I tried algo.monster for a few weeks , and it was useful . The learning path gave me a clear order to follow instead of just bouncing around between random topics . A few explanations did feel a little too brief , so I had to look up extra examples here and there . But overall , it helped me understand the patterns better and made practice feel a lot less chaotic . Good enough for me

"Actually helpful for onsite prep"
I used algo.monster for a few weeks before my onsite, and honestly... it helped more than I expected. The patterns felt close to the stuff I ended up getting asked, especially around DP and graphs. It’s not perfect, of course, but compared to just randomly grinding LeetCode, it felt way more focused and relevant for me...

"Not much of a community anymore..."
It just feels like the community is dead now. I was hoping for more activity, conversations, or at least some signs that people were still around, but... not really. Kind of disappointing!
"Helpful for practice, but the reminders can get old"
I was feeling motivated when I started using algo.monster, and it did help me keep track of questions and review patterns I probably would’ve forgotten otherwise. The reminders are useful, but after a while they started to feel a bit clunky and kind of annoying. I still ended up making my own notes on the side. Overall, it’s decent for interview prep, but I wouldn’t use it as my only resource...

"Helpful, but I felt a bit lost at times"
I tried algo.monster for a few weeks while still new to this stuff, and it did help me understand some things better. That said, I also found myself getting confused more often than I expected, so maybe I was missing some background context going in.
The explanations are okay, but certain topics felt like they jumped ahead quickly, like you were already supposed to know the pattern or why it mattered. I ended up googling a lot on the side just to fill in the blanks.
Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s bad at all. It just didn’t feel super beginner-friendly to me. I think it’s probably better if you already have the basics down and just need more structured practice.

"Helpful practice flow, though a little wordy at times"
I’ve been using algo.monster for practice and overall it’s been a smooth experience. I like that it makes you work through problems step by step instead of just passively reading. The pattern-based approach helped me recognize what to use a lot faster. A few explanations felt a bit long, and I had to reread some parts, but it’s still really solid for hands-on practice

"Seeing my progress helps me stay on track"
I really like being able to see what I’ve already completed. It gives me a quick reminder that I’m making progress, and that makes it much easier to stay consistent day after day.

"Not what I needed at all"
I’m annoyed because this was missing a bunch of the problems I actually needed. I expected it to be complete, but instead I ended up wasting time because whoever put this together clearly left out important stuff

"The test cases ended up catching bugs I..."
The test cases ended up catching bugs I kept overlooking, so they feel reliable overall, if that makes sense.
"Billing was fine, but canceling felt weirdly confusing"
I got billed once, which wasn’t a big deal, and support did cancel it quickly. So in that sense it was totally fine. But at the same time, the whole canceling process felt a little more confusing than it needed to be. Not terrible, just kind of annoying.

"I’ve been using algo for interview prep…"
I’ve been using Algo Monster for interview prep, it does have some really useful stuff, especially around patterns and common questions. The way they break down the ideas usually makes sense, and when it clicks, it really clicks. But every now and then, a lesson feels like it skips a secret step, like they know something and just decided not to say it out loud. Some examples could definitely use more explanation too. It’s not bad at all, just a little inconsistent. If you already know the basics, it’s helpful. If you’re brand new, though, you might feel like you walked into the middle of a meeting everyone else was already briefed on.

"Decent lessons, but the pricing feels off"
The lessons themselves are fine and I did pick up some useful stuff, but the price feels a bit too high for what you get. I also get a little wary when everything is wrapped in that super polished company-speak, like it’s trying really hard to sound more valuable than it is. Not bad, just not sure it fully justifies the cost

"Really easy to follow"
The lessons are put in a really good order, which makes a big difference. I didn’t feel lost jumping from one thing to the next, and everything kind of builds naturally. Also, it just makes it easier to stay motivated because you’re not sitting there wondering why something is being taught yet. Simple thing, but I really appreciated it.

"Pretty solid for interview prep"
I’ve been using Algo Monster for interview prep, and overall I’d say it’s been a good experience. The site is mostly easy to figure out, and the lessons are organized in a way that makes sense, at least to me. I like being able to jump between topics without feeling completely lost. I’d probably give it 4 stars because some pages feel a little crowded, and I’m not totally sure if it’s just my phone, but the mobile navigation could be a bit smoother. Still, for the most part it works well, and I don’t feel like I’m wasting time trying to find what I need
